I don’t know about you, but I’ve been having a crazily busy autumn. Between writing books, promoting books, and starting to prepare for the upcoming holidays (they always roll around again so fast!) I’ve been swamped. So I’m sending only one newsletter to tell you about three (!) new Lacey Alexander books!

Hot off the presses, Penguin has just released what is, in my opinion, my edgiest and most envelope-pushing book yet, WHAT SHE NEEDS.

In it, Jenna Banks' friends think she needs more sex in her life and they enter her to win a two-week stay at the Hotel Erotique, an erotic resort on a private island - think Fantasy Island for sex. She's horrified when she wins, but decides to go anyway, just for the vacation aspects, not the sex. Little does she know, however, that sexologist Brent Powers is waiting there to guide her through the series of fantasies he's designed just for her - and that he's not only very persuasive, but utterly seductive, as well.

SCOTT’S SATIN SHEETS

And at long last, the final book in the City Heat series, SCOTT’S SATIN SHEETS, was recently released in e-book format by Ellora’s Cave. Readers first met Scott in KEY WEST and finally his scorching hot story is available.

When the book begins, Scott has already sewn all his wild oats in Key West and is now set on saving money and opening his own business. Enter wild child Payton Albright, whose oat-sewing days are just beginning. Scott can't resist this rich good girl gone bad, but the trouble starts when Scott realizes he works for Payton's father. How far can this steamy and outrageous affair with the boss's daughter go?

RED HOT HOLIDAYS

On December 3, Pocket Books, in association with Ellora’s Cave, will release a steamy anthology featuring holiday stories by myself, Shiloh Walker, and Shelby Reed. My contribution to the book is the novella, UNWRAPPED, in which sexually conservative Emily is sending her lover Simon all the wrong signals in the bedroom. What can save this relationship in time for Christmas? It takes a little tutoring and some courage, but if all goes well, Emily will soon show Simon she can be just as naughty as she is nice.

This story previously appeared in the anthology, ON SANTA’S NAUGHTY LIST, as well as being available as an e-book from Ellora’s Cave. In 2010, you can expect the release of MARDI GRAS, from Ellora’s Cave, in e-book format. This novella originally appeared in the BEHIND THE MASK anthology, but this will be the first time it has been available to be purchased individually.

Also, next April, I will be attending the Romantic Times conference in Columbus, Ohio. While there, I hope to be unveiling a new print book from Ellora’s Cave – either ADRIANNA’S UNDIES and SCOTT’S SATIN SHEETS in one volume together, or CARNAL SACRIFICES, the last book in the Brides of Caralon trilogy. Meanwhile, I’m starting a new project for NAL, in which I’ll be taking my stories in a slightly different, sometimes slightly darker direction. Think hot alpha males – lots of them.
